Are You a Peggy, a Betty, or a Joan?

I beg to differ.
| You Are Peggy |
![]() You are motivated and driven. You want to be as successful as any man you know, if not more so. You've always been a bit of an outside in life, and you've learned to develop a thick skin. You believe the only way to be great is to work hard, be persistent, and stop caring about what others think. |

Joan was standing in front of Paul with a cigarette in one hand as she listened to him explain his girlfriend. After a moment of processing what he was saying, she gave a little laugh.
"You're out there in your poor-little-rich-boy apartment in Newark or wherever, walking around with your pipe and your beard, falling in love with that girl just to show everyone how interesting you are." She reveled in his shocked silence as she took a drag of her cigarette. "Go ahead. Which part was wrong?"**
When he could say nothing, she made her way out of the building. No matter what he said, she wasn't jealous of Paul and whatever it was he thought he had. It was all an allusion, and if he thought she was the only one who had him pegged he was sadly mistaken. She may have been over thirty, but at least she wasn't living a lie.
Once she was home, Joan took off her high heels and earrings before reaching around to unzip her dress, but as she turned she realized she was on the street. Not just any street, but a street she had never seen before.
"What in the holy hell is this?" she asked as she turned in a slow circle and zipped her dress right back up.
